My Actual Current Thought Process*
#Free-form stream-of-consciousness poetry(?) as another long night of amphetamines and nicotine crawls on.
Even as i step out for some fresh air, i take a cigarette instead. the bright glow from my laptop screen blinding the darkness of the night; aperture closing down to 16.
transported to a separate temporal space than the one my physical presence inhabits.
breathing in manufactured air....

Absolutely sick.
I Saw the Devil is another brutal offering from acclaimed Korean director Kim Ji-Woon of previous badass films as A Tale of Two Sisters, A Bittersweet Life, & The Good, The Bad, & The Weird.
Glad to see him come back to the horror genre and can’t wait to be completely drenched in the sweat and tears that will surely accompany the viewing of this film.

Zhang Yimou (Hero, Curse of the Golden Flower) doing a wuxia adaptation of the Coen Brothers’ Blood Simple ?! Yes please !
The USA title for the film is A Woman, A Gun, & A Noodle Shop and it definitely has a zany feel to it. Since when did Zhang Yimou turn into Takashi Miike ?! This trailer is a few weeks old, but for those of you who haven’t checked it out yet,...

Wooo Asian Trailer Wednesdays !
This one comes to us from relatively unknown Chinese director Wu Ershan. The films international title is The Butcher, The Chef, & The Swordsman. It is a kung fu comedy but looks super stylized, gory, and action packed. Intriguing.

Official trailer for Howl.
I personally enjoyed David Cross’s turn as Allen Ginsberg, but it will definitely be interesting to see how James Franco portrays the controversial literary figure.

OMG OMG OMG OMG Its here.
First theatrical trailer w/ footage for The Social Network.
This looks like it is going to be incredible. And it features one of my most favorite recordings of all time, a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” by the Belgian Girl’s choir Scala. Absolutely beautiful through and through.
